In short: WHAT NO WATER FOR BACK RUNNERS
In full: this is my 4th half and by far the worst organised ive done this 2 times, and all good apart from this. dont know when the water ran out but no one at the back got any. it was about 14 km into the race that i actually got water given to me there was a lot of people struggling loads dropped out with cramp to ask people to pay for this and then not give adequate refreshments.
my time for this was appaling 10 mins off Pb but not surprising there was quite a few got carted away by the ambulances probably due to dehydrated, there is a lot of fun runners that go out there way to raise sponsorship and then probably get carted off to hospital.next year i will pack some desalanation tablets and then i drink the water in the duck pond which i very nearly did this time Plus the lack of t shirt was another smack in the face. 2 water stations for half marathon there was 2 in the 10k no wonder there was problems

In short: wasnt impressed
In full: badly planned late start, water stations were badly managed half the cups where half full, stewarding was poor, not enough water stations , goodie bag was ok, nice medal at the end but think theres alot of better managed events around, lots of effort should be put into next years event to bring it up to scratch , the 10k here is much better organised

In short: where was all the km markings
In full: this was my first race , i thought the parking was terrible , adequate parking but time it took to get from pier head to parking area was about 35mins. Im a beginner and felt it would be useful to have an km markers mile markers that were there were to small and inadequate, should be better as for the water station on 3m where was it?? and the 4m water station the water was strange brown colour i enjoyed the race but feel couldve improved on certain aspects.
