In short: My 2nd time - but not my last
In full: Well organised with cheerful enthusiastic & helpful marshals all the way round, The course is "rolling" - this adds to the achievment...
Well done and thank you to Bedford harriers.

In short: Tough but Fun - a Real Challenge, But Do-Able
In full: Great organisation, Cheery friendly marshals (and plenty of them). I Felt well looked after with lots of well placed water stations and I will be back for more next year. Thanks to all who gave their time, see you next year! [I have targets to beat!]

In short: Nice fast route, But understaffed.
In full: This was my 4th half Marathon and to compare my experiences...

I wonder if it was a lack of voulenteers that let the organisation down? I saw less marshals on this one than any of the others... Some marshals seemed a little "flat" others were positively perky. Thanks to them all for their time and effort, especially the army cadets, some of them stood IN FRONT OF BOLLARDS to stop us crashing into them, NOT in the way as others have claimed.

The world is not flat, but this course is as flat as you are likely to get and was easily the flattest I have ran.

This was the only one without chip timing, and it has the second biggest number of entry's, I think they know that now, judging by the apology on the MKAC website!

Some motorists where a little impatient, not all the roads were closed, life's like that sometimes eh?

I wonder what would happen if everyone refused to help at races because of the attitude shown by competitors? people would have to be paid and then entry fee's would go up and the helpers would be unlikely to be fellow athletes, so you'd get that "if its not on the shelf we ain't got non" attitude. Think about it.

Well Done MKAC, thanks for a great mornings racing, please Iron out the start & Finish, We will be back next year.

In short: Another "Just Racing" success story, Good "clean?" fun!..
In full: Great fun, a real challenge without going over the top. I enjoyed [almost] every one of the 59 minutes that the 10K took me...

Cant wait for round two, see you there?

In short: Bedford Harriers are an enthuiastic Lot - and it Shows!
In full: a Good, well organised race, I would have liked the chip timing to record the start time as well as the finish time, Official times only really work for those at the front (the minority) but its a small thing really.

In short: Excellent - Well done Riverside, and thankyou.
In full: I can only repeat what others have said, a bit of grit on the ice would have helped - that's not a complaint though, just a suggested improvement. Thanks Riverside and god bless the marshalls - it was far too cold a day for standing still with wet hands, but they all gave fabulous cheerful support.

In short: No Water on the course at 30 degrees C - Criminal!
In full: Lack of water on the course was a crime on a day like today, I can't drink that sticky stuff they were handing out, I very nearly had to bail at 2 laps due to the heat - dehydration. Suprised no one collapsed.

I think the organisers really dropped the ball on this.
