In short: On a hot sunny day where else would you rather be !!
In full: Nice quiet race, cheering the 2k runners before the start of the 10k is a nice little touch, nicely organsiaed at the start from the car park marshall's to the timing chip pick up.

Its a nice race, nothing special, but no major issues either, maybe a little more encouragement from some of the marshalls wouldnt go amiss, and the water stations really do need better organisation.

A nice finish though with lots of finishers hangin round to cheer those still running on, with good marshalling at the end.

In short: Evesham - What a great race
In full: My first 10k for about 5 years, well organised all round, from the booklet with parking and a map, to the start sections with estimated times of finishing.

Fantastic scenery (kept getting deja vu) the support and encouragement from the marshalls was the best I have ever seen.

Another bonus was the cost, a cheap race with superb organisation (although a medal or momento would have been nice for a few quid extra)

In short: Good Friendly Fast Race
In full: My first half marathon and race for four years having stopped running for some stupid reason, so this was attempted with some trepidation.

The route was well signposted from the train station, and was well organised at the start. The staggering of starts was fantastic, ensuring you were running with similar ability runners but also the possibility to catch up runners in front to improve your time.

Lovely course, great scenery, nice (cough) little bridges, some good marshalls with a sense of humour (makes a change to some races) Really good potential for a pb.

Only downside was a little lack of organisation at the finish as to where the bags were and also the goody bags, I didnt get one :(

But I will def do this next year.

and...... just as a last thought, the bag transfer is a great idea :)

In short: Sorry, but poor all round
In full: My first time at this event, poor organisation at the start, no synchronisation at the start with no clock at the end, so for some people they wouldn't know their time.

Poor marshalling, some marked stations with no marshalls, I didn't hear one marshall giving any encouragement.

Poor signage of km completed, easily confused with marker stations which were numbered.

Only redeeming factor was the water stations which were well positioned, and with enough people manning them.

On the RW website it mentions a momento as its 20 years old ! what was it ???

Sorry, wont be doing this race again, although it is a great cause.
