In short: a great morning out in the Berkshire countryside
In full: well done to all of the marshalls out on the course as they were all very encouraging, no major issues and it was very nice to see your times at the finish line. Overall a very nice Tri and well done to TVT as we will be back next year.....

In short: My first Tri, will be back again next year
In full: This was my first Tri and I must say it won't be my last, a huge well done to the orginisers as it was flawless. All of the marshalls were very encouraging and even the Sea-scouts were very boisterous...

This Tri is a must for the beginner or the seasoned vet......

Well done everyone and thanks to those who sponsored us as we raised almost £600 for the air ambulance.

In short: nice mid-week race in a lovely setting
In full: weel done to Bracknell Fors=est Runners for orginising a really good solid race, the number of other clubs running this race highlights what a good race it is. Full of undulations and a biggish hill....

In short: another great Yateley
In full: Well done to the orginisers again, you only appreciate a well orginised race like this when you have seen others fail..... plenty of water stations, marshals and locals to cheer you on...well done Snadhurst Joggers!!!

In short: superbly orginased race
In full: Again another great race from 2:09 events, great place to run but those hills don't get any easier, always amazes me how everyone adopts the Dunkirk spirit when facing a big hill..... well done everyone including the orginisers and especially the marshalls who were very friendly and encouraging.

In short: great XC experience
In full: superb race, from the timing chip hand-out to the information about the delayed a=start, everything was handled great.

As others have said before me the course contained mud, some nice little uphill bits, more mud, fast downhill stretches, even more mud, tree roots, loads more mud and even some sand.

Along with the thunder and hail I was fully expecting to see the 3 Horsemen of the Apocalypse at any moment......well done to all entrants and a huge well done to the marshalls and helpers.....

Will be back again....

In short: farcical orginisation
In full: Smelled a rat when I turned up in Richmond Park and saw a huge queue, the solitary marshall informed me that it was for late entries and the timing chips, decided that freezing my knackers off in a line for 30mins wasn't a good idea as I had my Garmin anyway. Mildly amused myself by seeing the timing chip line reduce only to see the toilet and baggage drop lines to swell..

Race eventually started at gone 09:30 but as others have said the course was simply along the main road in Richmond and alongside Kew...interesting when we got to London Welsh rugby ground where cars were queuing for a mini-rugby tournament and we were trying to run through them (not a lot the race organisers could have done about this but it just summed up the race).

Bizarrely the water stop was at 3k as was manned by 1 person who was pouring bottled water into plastic cups, expected another station during the course but never saw one...

Finish line was another farce as the bottleneck for the "goodies" was back past the finish line....glad I didn't use a timing chip in the end....

Seems to me this race wasn't run by runners but by people who are maybe more interested in profits. The race t-shirt was a very poor plain white t-shirt advertising the organiser and the medal was also very poor. I would rather pay more and get proper support and a decent medal....

Lastly, I think I saw 4 marshalls on the whole course and that is simply unacceptable on a safety issue.

In short: good race, shame about the start time
In full: really good race, well marshaled and nice support from onlookers. The only downside is the lunchtime start. Would be back again if it was a morning kick-off as otherwise it consumes your whole Sunday....

In short: Good fun going through the puddles
In full: Last minute change of distance was a shame but found the course very flat and quite fast. Very muddy though along the canal stretches, had to be very aware of the low bridges and saw one nasty accident (hope the guys head isn't too sore tomorrow morning) involving the entrance to one of the bridges. The marshalling was very, very good and 2:09 should be very proud of their team. Will be back next year..
