In short: Great but fantastic race in idyllic surroundings
In full: I really enjoyed this challenging mainly x-country race (80% off road). Fantastic scenery on a well marked but tough course (uneven terrain, hills and the hot weather) but this made the running and the finishing all the more worthwhile. I hope to be back next year and believe that now we know what the race entails (good organisation, good course and good cause) greater support is deserved.

In short: An enjoyable race
In full: I enjoyed the race and was aware that there would be stiles and no water stops from the pre-race information. Although a little far from home I would like to do again in the future.

In short: Nice race in nice surroundings offering a great start to the Easter weekend
In full: Really enjoyed this race, found it to be well ogranised, scenic, friendly and fast, all complimented by pleasant weather. Only complaint was my daughter has now managed to beat me two weeks running, but I hope to get my revenge next week :o). Not sure if it is when I passed them but I did not exerience any problems passing the walkers.

In short: Once again an excellent race
In full: After reading the previous reviews I was surprised to find a number of harsh ratings after really enjoying my race. However, I now understand from the comment posted at the top of the results: "http://www.joelee.co.uk/2006/southend/southend10k2006.pdf" that this was due to confusion at the finish caused by a medical emergency. I think that all would agree that it is more important to get attention to somebody in a potentially serious condition at the risk of disrupting the finish. From my perspective I thought the race was well organised considering the numbers and hope to be back next year and as a previous reviewer has pointed out the confusion regarding the start would have been avoided if pre race instructions were followed.

In short: I thought the race was excellent, although not a course for setting a PB, the race provided a most enjoyable Sunday morning and I feel offered very good value for money.

In short: A most enjoyable race followed by most enjoyable cake
In full: Enjoyed the run, the surroundings, the people, excellent day, although I reserve judgement on the hill that seemed to continue upwards from 10M -> 14M. Cake was excellent but was that tcp in the water at 7 mile mark? Well done Wadhurst Runners, I hope to be back next year.
