In short: Great race!
In full: Brilliant organisation - I wanted to change from the 10 miler to the 20 miler and my mate was taking someone else's place - a couple of quick forms at registration and it was all sorted - no hassle! Also, a fab idea handing out the t-shirts at registration - the first time I've ever had one that fits. Great atmosphere and a HUGE thanks to all the marshalls at the road side and on bikes who were incredibly supportive and encouraging - thanks especially to the marshalls by The Lamb Inn, I hope you've not lost your voices!

In short: I'm still grinning!
In full: Fantastic! The first half of the race lulls you into a false sense of security and then it all gets dirty! Giant puddles of freezing water, slippy mud, sinking in smelly bogs and crawling on all fours up steep mudslides! I've never laughed this much in a race before - brilliant fun! Don't bother with a watch, you'll be too busy to worry about time!

In short: Great atmosphere, will def. do again.
In full: Good mix of club and non-club runners. Nice surroundings, lovely route through woodland. Bit congested at the start but soon spread out. Car park charges were no surprise - we were warned on all the literature beforehand. Will definitely do this one again.

In short: Lovely scenery with a fab downhill to the finish.
In full: A fairly flat run with a few uphills but nothing too major. Thanks to the weather there was plenty of crowd support along the prom. Thinned out a bit on the cliff top return though, the marshalls were a bit quiet too! Could do with more markers, only saw one at 1,3 and 5 miles. Great downhill stretch making for a fast finish!

In short: Bit hot and hilly but worth it!
In full: Would've liked an earlier start - this was the 2nd year I've done it and once again it was too hot. Great crowd support, thanks to the lady with the hose and to everyone clapping and ringing bells. The only pain was one area with 2 way traffic - had to run single file on the verge. Overall the atmosphere was fab and even though I didn't know any of the other runners I was not at all lonely!
