In short: Good crowd racing, great crowd supporting
In full: Very well organised for such a big event. Fantastic crowds throughout, very loud and supportive all the way around. Wave start a good idea, but a lot of slow runners in Wave 1 - get right to the front at the start if you're looking for a PB. Fast flat course, PB definitely on if you can clear the crowds in hte first two miles. Scenery a bit dull, but HMS Victory looked great in the morning sunshine. How often do we mortals get to actually run alongside names like Tulu and Ramala (albeit they were almost at the finish when I passed the 6 mile marker!)

In short: Great race: fast, scenic course, very friendly and no traffic. Real PB potential for regular runners and a flat and easy course for novices.

In short: Great day out and nice scenery. Start needs a bit more organisation; too narrow for 1000 runners and too many of the slower runners at the front with no space to pass.
In full: Great day out at the zoo with plenty to see before and after the race, or during the race for spectators. The start was the worst part - far too narrow for this many runners and too many of the slower runners at the front, making it almost impossible to pass them. Perhaps they should route the start through, not past, the tiger enclosure next year to eliminate some of the field early on! (Only kidding) Great scenery once out of the zoo but a couple of decent sized hills probbaly spoiled any PB potential. Well done to the marshalls for giving everyone plenty of encouragement and to the police for doing an excellent job with the traffic control.
