It was well organised from start to finish with encouragement from the marshalls to push you up the hills. Well done Swanley!!!! Date of review: April 15, 2012

In short: Awesome run and what can I say about that hill....... In full: What a great run especially in the snow and ice and that hill.....it was like a giant mud slide as I took 2 steps up and 6 steps back but I made to the top with the help from young Bob from Swanley AC. A big thanks to the army cadets for helping us to get out car out of the snow. Date of review: February 12, 2012

In short: Totally awesome race as usual!!!! In full: As usual Dr Rob pulled it out of the bag yet again. I even made an effort to dress up as a so called fairy. The marshalls and support from the front runners was wicked as usual. Even with the extra 2K added on it was awesome and I've got to say the colour changing mug is super dooper!!!! GO DR ROB!!!! In short: What more can I say that hasn't already been said..... In full: For a big city marathon I found this totally disappointing, it should be called the Musselburgh marathon. It felt quite isolated from miles 16 to 21 with no support apart from fellow runners. The lack of water was terrible why not follow the examples of London and Brighton by having water at every mile from 18/20 to the finish. The finish area was so muddled and to make people walk for 25 minutes to get to the buses and then stand and queue (which is expected) after having run 26.2 miles......I was looking forward to completing another big city marathon but would I do it again, no way. There are lessons to be learnt. Date of review: May 25, 2011
