In short: Fantastic event, although the general quality of competitors would perhaps intimidate 'fun runners.' On the other hand it may inspire you for the year after because you'd certainly want another crack at it.

In short: Pleasantly surprised by the route, it has increased my opinion of Coventry. Well organised, great crowd, suitable for all levels.

In short: An end of season spectacular...
In full: I can think of nothing about the experience which didnt impress. The organisation was A1, as were the atmosphere, scenary and the villages that lined the course. A real treat.

In short: MEN ONLY!!
In full: The joy of this race is both counterbalanced and accentuated by its challanges. The hills are the stuff of nightmares in terms of size, scale, and frequency. The frustration that these may cause though is easily counterbalanced by the stunning scenary and the buzz of tackling this tough course in a good time. A must run!

In short: A local race with a big race feel...
In full: Leaving aside the parking which was a little disorganised and a lack of clarity about the races start, the event was excellent! The small town atmostphere was a delight as was the rural setting. Its the stuff of PB's if you so choose but most seemed intent on just enjoying the spectacle.

In short: Fantastic!: by far the best of my ten halfs so far...
In full: I know its been said before but the scenary that this race entails is awe inspiring. The wonderful historical town of Eyam itself (in conjunction with the event) makes for a fantastic day which the whole family would enjoy. The hills are quite mean but this one pitfall is easily counterbalanced by the views aforementioned.
