In short: This is a brilliant race, a great mix of terrain and well organised.
In full: I've done this race 4 or 5 times now and really enjoy it, although it's a fell race it's made for first time fell runners who are making the step up from XC. Theres a bit of everything terrain wise and the view from the top of Bosley cloud is fantastic. Well organised this year even though they didn't have use of the hall due to building works. Well done Congleton Harriers

In short: Well organised marathon.
In full: My third marathon following Berlin and London so i wasn't sure how i would find it even though i have done the half several times. I have to say i really enjoyed it, i don't think it's the easiest marathon, mainly due to the headwind which you are likely to experience coming from Holme Pierrepont and along the Trent and I wasn't too keen on the gravel path in the same section. Scenery wise you can't ask for much better in a city marathon and although it's pricey imagine how much the police and council charge for that many road closures. All in all i say well done to the organisers and i will be back but only when i'm not chasing a PB.

In short: Well done LERC, well organised and good race.
In full: Couldn't really ask for much more in a local 5 mile race. Well organised, fast course and a decent goody bag and t-shirt.

In short: Its was alright but the course was quite dull.....
In full: I experienced no organisational problems but i just thought the course was boring. I'd do it again but only because i live in Nottingham.
