In short: Great course, spoilt by unenthusiastic marshals
In full: Good course, mainly on gravel tracks. Unfortunately most of the marshals were not really getting into the spirit. yes, I know it was very cold. No goody bag of any sort at the end, which was a bit strange considering the number of sponsors.

In short: Tough but gret atmosphere
In full: This race must have something as I keep coming back every year. Very tough, but good spirit amongst the runners and very friendly marshals. Particular thanks to the marshals as it was bitterly cold, not a day for standing around.

In short: Great fun as usual
In full: Please move this event back to November! Clashes with other important events and I know of a number of people who couldn't do it this year because of the date and that showed up in the number of entrants, I was actually running on my own with no one in sight for a the middle part of the race, so lost some of the usual atmosphere. Otherwise, loved it.

In short: Great atmoshere
In full: Great course in amazing scenery. Really friendly atmosphere. I enjoy the natural obstacles but feel that a lot of these events are trying to outdo each other with the artificial obstacles, which are totally unnecessary. Other grouses: Too expensive, I would expect a technical T shirt in the goody bag at these sort of prices, other cheaper events manage it. Also what about prizes for the Over 50s and 60s? Despite all this I will certainly do it again!

In short: Lovely day!
In full: Generally well organised, start was not as chaotic as I expected, could do with more time zones. Only criticism is of the office. There was a problem with my entry, the telephone number given is a voicemail and nobody calls back! Fortunately problem was sorted on the day with no fuss.

In short: Good way to work off the excesses of Xmas & New Year!
In full: Apart from the distance markings, which didn't worry me as I use my Garmin, there were no real problems apart from getting a very muddy vehicle on the exit road :)

In short: My 4th time, so something must be right!
In full: Let's get the moans out of the way first, 1/Too expensive,2/ need more marshalls, particularly for safety in the Turbo zone. 3/ Race was a little shorter than previous years, so even though I knocked 10 mins of my pb it was a bit meaningless. Otherwise, loved every minute of it, great atmosphere amongst the runners and most came over the line with a big smile on there face.

In short: Friendly event
In full: Good conditions, cool and breezy. Friendly support. Considering number of sponsors, goody bag was very mean.
