In short: challenging, as ever. Excellent organisation- even a sofa for the tired !
In full: A well laid out and smoothly-run race. Marshals cheery and helpful - a real credit to the Striders. Tough in places, but lovely autumnal scenery. The sofa was a nice touch at 10 miles, mind!

In short: Nice, if a little crowded in places. Shame the only goody is a medal saying "fun run". Cheap for a £16 race.
In full: Way too crowded for the lane out after the bridge. I was impressed by a young boy (about 8 years old) dashing past my old bones at 5 miles, though !

Fawley hill was a good filter (reminiscent of the Marlow hill!).

A grand day out, but why try to recycle old milk bottle tops under the guise of a medal ? Tight fists - and you with Boris as an ex-mp!

In short: That which does not kill us, makes us stronger
In full: Have run plently of Marathons, but my first Half (so at least it was a p.b.) Thanks to the superb Marshalls and all at the Striders. A great race and a great day out for the family, too. I'll be back next year - but why have timing chips which don't register when you cross the start line ???
