In short: Relay was great fun but really hard for a marathon course
In full: A lovely, friendly race with free fish and chips at the finish!!
The organisers lied about the number of stiles per lap - there were definitely more than 4 per lap (I lost count - was it 6 or 7?!), the terrain was difficult and the course was definitely not PB potential. However the organisers and locals were really welcoming and the announcer and crowd outside the pub helped get people round.
I loved the relay but the marathon runners were legends to keep going for the 9 lap course!!
