In short: Warm and Friendly
In full: On the 10th Aniversary of this race the sun came out yet again to make this a really challenging race. The pleasant surrroundings and excellent marshalling made me glad I did this after eight weeks of not running . Wadhurst Runners have set the standard this year with goodie bag - cakes- medal and a towel plus Band and plenty of drinks . Thanks to everyone

In short: A nice friendly race
In full: From picking up numbers to crossing the finishing line the organisers did a good job - hats off to the cadets that handed out the water and encouraged everyone . This was not as comfortable run as I expected getting cramp at 8 miles didnt help but I will be back next year - well done all

In short: Well organised race
In full: This race is such good fun - the warm up team at the start enough toilets and the superb marshalls on the course including the cadets and local people . The hill at 3 is a tester but everyone knows its there so no shocks . And a bonus is the parking fees are so reasonable unlike some other seaside runs - Brighton could learn from this . Well done to all the organisers

In short: Too expensive for a half
In full: This is not a bad race but it is overpriced and then all runners are ripped off at the car parks £12 . The organisers advertised a medal but didn't deliver - not sure that a bag no matter how environmentally friendly is of any use to most runners .The T shirt was good . More marshalls are needed down by asda I saw a young lady fall and the only people to help were runners - All the marshalls did a great job

In short: Great day
In full: I set out with the intent of beating my time in 2006 - 3.03 and managed 2.07 so was over the moon - organisation and encouragement from the marshalls was fantastic and the jelly beans a bonus - I agree the water should be in smaller bottles and this will be done next year - Cakes were amazing and I look forward to the 10th aniversary race next year - A Great race and really special club

In short: good day for a run
In full: The weather was great for this new course race - a few people and dogs in the way round the lakes but no real problems - Good marshalling around the course but the finish could have been taped off to guide runners to the end - I saw a few pass the clock and walk off into the crowds without going pass the checkers . All in All a nice race that needs a little polishing to make it great - thanks Larkfield
