In short: Really enjoyed this, will definitely be back next year.
In full: Much as the previous comments. Really enjoyed the run, enough hills to stop it being boring, but not enough to hurt! Nice atmosphere and loads of encouraging marshals. Arrows on paths was a great idea. Loved the start in the main street and the finish took me by suprise as it was on the footpath! See you next year.

In short: Never got to run the race despite registering online. No number.
In full: Never got a race number despite registering online a few weeks ago using the Runners World website. My partners number arrived through the post but not mine even though we registered at the same time. Turned up at the race to sort it out and was told they did not have my number so I would have to wait and see if there were any numbers left over after everyone had been seen to. The same also happened to my patner's brother, as no one seemed to have any idea what we should do we gave it up and went for a jog around the woods which we enjoyed. Very galling to pay out money for a race and then find out you can't run.

In short: Great scenery, friendly Marshals, Great hoodie. Well done Bedford
In full: Like most people did this one with my partner Mary as the last long one before the FLM and we both had a great time. If we get a place next year we shall both be back. The weather really showed the countryside off to its best, the marshalls were incredible, 4 hours of a Sunday morning, hats off to you, the organisation was superb and the atmosphere was very friendly. The hoodie was really good and like the other runners we will be wearing it again. Well done Bedford.
Tom and Mary.

In short: Great race, well worth entering.
In full: Have done this race for the past three years and have always enjoyed it. A nice flat course that is great for the PB seeker although I am a bit old for it myself, great organisation, they even have a test run on the course a week before the event and a bbq afterwards. This year the weather was just right for running, it has fell on the really wamest summer days in the past and nothing wrong with that. The best race I have entered for years! Oh and a reasonable goody bag.

In short: A really friendly race, tough last two miles and a great refreshment stall
In full: Excellent race in lovely surroundings. Starts and finishes in East Carlton Country Park which has plenty going on to entertain children whilst waiting for mum or dad to return. The run itself is quite tough with the last two miles being nearly all uphill but it is through lovely countryside and it was a lovely morning. The race has a very friendly atmosphere that is really made by the great refreshment stall. I had a couple of slices of lovely homemade apple sponge and a really good cup of tea, my partner had the egg and cress roll with the same cake and said it was great, and we only paid peanuts. A great race and I shall definitely run it again next year.
