In short: Good despite problems
In full: Despite all the much-discussed parking and traffic problems, I thought this had the basics right - a good traffic-free course and a potentially fast run-in at the end. Personally, just glad that Warwick finally has a local half marathon (local for me anyway). Nice t-shirt if you don't want to run in it. I didn't like the medal - but then again I can't understand why people would want a medal anyway. I think a lot of effort was put into this race by the organisers, it raised a lot of money and it can - and will - only get better.

In short: Friendly local (for me) event
In full: Despite the criticisms which I can't really comment on, I think this event is a friendly, well-marshalled event with a good course in scenic surroundings. These kind of local events provide an important opportunity for club athletes like myself. Slightly over-priced entry fee, but it does go to a good cause. Would do again definitely.

In short: Friendly, well organised, excellent marshalls, low key atmosphere and nice rural course
In full: It was very hot this year but four water stations were welcome. Only criticism - next year why not bring people up the hill to the start rather than have lots of slower runners fighting their way from the start line back to the rear. Otherwise, a really well organised, friendly race through some great countryside.

In short: Flat, a bit dull, windy but friendly event and well organised
In full: This should be a good PB event - if you can concentrate through the long and rather dull runway straights - but the course is rather exposed to the elements. Low-key event but enthusiastic and friendly organisation. Good for begginners (if they can put up with the wind)
