In short: My last Blackpool SRH event...Sadly.
In full: Thats it. There are so many reasons as to why I will not spend my running £ on one of these events again, but broadly speaking, the quality, attention to detail and organisation just is not there. I'll stick with club organised events in future.

In short: a great race, well organised, great momento, great marshals, goody bag. and all for around a tenner!
In full: What more could you want? Race started 3 mins late, not because of any problems but because fellow competitors were using the loo, src did the right thing. Most club organised events don't even supply portaloos preferring that we use peoples gardens! Long distance races like this are hard to put together with police and councils slow to offer support. There were over 55 people involved on the day, marshalling, putting together the finish organising entries etc and another 7 before the day. This is not part of a great run series at £25+ but a high quality local club race for around £10. my new mug will serve as a great reminder of a great day. I say congratulations swinton and thanks very much, a good day, see you next year.

In short: Mmmmm....
In full: Race organisers can't do much about the weather (which was awfull for those finishing beyond 32 mins), they should however be able to get mile markers to within a lamppost or so of correct (not .89 of mile out!), they should be able to get water to the finish line. I know its tough being a Race Director, been there, but these are simple errors. BUT...marshalls great, very encouraging and patient. Out there in the wind, cold & wet for hours so we could run, thanks.
Thanks to

In full: A good family day out with all but 'er indoors having a run.
I had a mountain of comment but she told me to be more considerate of the effort Duncan & his crew had put in. Duncan there was some stuff that could be better but much that was great. I am local and happy to give you a hand next year. e-mail me if you want to take me up(race no: 54)

In short: The Dogs Cohonies!
In full: It don't get better than this. All of you moaning about the car park fees, the best way to avoid them is to stop over and make a weekend of it!
Any road roller owners out there short of work? The mile between 11 & 12 needs some serious flattening.
