In short: Much improved over previous years
In full: Did previous 2 years and glad to say this race had much improved organisation. The organisers should be congratulated on sorting the race out. The 2 part start worked, very good marshalling, drinks good , support excellent and finish good. Overall a rewarding race, and nice to be involved in such a big event. One small point I missed a number of mile markers, particularly after 9 miles. But, after having 4 months off races due to injury, just finishing this was a great feeling. Keep up the good work Bristol

In short: Nice local race
In full: I like this race, haven't got a clue why, but it always leaves me with a nice feeling. I like the ability to do 3 distances (done the 15k and now the 5k, so maybe the 10 in the future), like the nice finishing area which encourages runners & supporters to stay around chat & cheer on later finishers. Like the 3 laps as if you are doing the longer run you regularly go past a big cheering group near the finish. Overall, it leaves you with a nice warm feeling. Well organised, well marshalled. Keep it up Warndon.

In short: Great day- great organisation
In full: My second time doing the full course here, and its improved. Really good marshaling, water, water everywhere (which was good considering the weather forcast of heavy rain, changed into wanm sunshine wih no wind!). Was nice this year to have energy drinks at more stations. The support was excellent, from marshals and apparently every house & village you ran past-thanks it made all the difference. A word on cost- this is not an inexpensive race, but I guess if cost comes down you remove water/sponge stations, energy drinks, portaloos at the start & around the course & maybe go back to little white plastic drinking cups etc. I think I'd prefer to have the great services & pay a bit more. Well done again Stratford.

In short: Great run
In full: Sunny, warmish, no wind, after the weather we've been having the conditions were ideal. Course a good mix of road and grass, wonderfully wet and muddy in places, and those deep water filled footprints from the heard of cattle just made it all the more interesting. Great organisation, great atmosphere, great marshalling, and great cakes at the end. A really enjoyable sunday.

In short: Brilliant
In full: First time or me. Glad everyone was warning about the first hill, but actually its just a big cuddly kitten of a hill, low gradient, engage low gear and go. What nobody said was the fierce lion of a decent afterwards. The only other difficult bit was the hill at 19 miles, you need a good sense of humour for that one. I really had no idea how stunningly beautiful this race was, it really did take my breath away (which is a shame, coz I needed all the breath I had !). The race is very well organised, the marshalling is first rate (thanks to you guys & gals, it cant have been fun in he drizzle & wind for 4 hours - but you were so appreciated), the race HQ good (nice showers afterwards). Overall this race will make all the others this year, seem just a little less exciting and challenging. Definiteky see you next year. P.S. nice T shirt too.

In short: Really enjoyable race
In full: Good course, good weather, very well organised, with graet marshalling & even some supporters around. Second year for me & I remembered the hills well, but they did seem a little less intimidating this year, even the one at 11 miles. Very well worth the trip. Anyone wanting to stretch a little further than a half before taking on the 'big one' should consider this race.

In short: Excellent race on a beautiful day in great countryside
In full: What great weather for running on a nice multi terrain course. This was a first time doing this race for me, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Multi Terrains. Very varied underfoot (hard track to deepish mud). Very well marshalled, and for me, all I need at the end of a race is a drink & a Mars bar-which I got-so very pleased all round (and a better time than I expected as well). Nice one Amazing Feet.

In short: Always a good start to the new year
In full: Nice to get a race in early in the year & this is a good one. Good organisation. traffic free, good mix of runners (and race walkers). Flatish course. Anything that gives a PB so early in the year must be good, so this is a good one, and seems to have slightly growing numbers year on year. Thanks to the organisers for getting up so early on new years day to put this one on.

In short: Heaven
In full: I dont think anyone will really understand this race until they do it. It is a totally unique experience. Hundreds of people, majority in fancy dress of some sort, tackling a really tough mixed road/trail/ fell race, and having a whale of a time. Third year for me, and still best defined as 'Heaven on earth'. Its the true start of christmas. I could go on enthusing for hours about this run. Thanks to the organisers, the marshals, all the runners in great fancy dress and whoever created this magnificent corner of our great countryside. Its what running was invented for.
