In short: Minor adjustments needed
In full: As people have said, the start and finish need sorting.I started with the 2 hour people and couldn't hear any announcements or any indication that we'd started - just had to follow those in front. I also had no idea where the finish was and kept running until after the big blue sausage.

In short: Please can we have it again in 2009 ?
In full: Another thumbs-up from another satisfied customer. Great for all abilities, I ran it with my wife as her second ever 10k and she had the same smile I did at the end.
Well done and a big thank you to everyone involved.

In short: Thank you
In full: Superb organisation and plenty to keep the family happy while you fly your way to a PB around a fast course. Well worth travelling to.

In short: Get it sorted
In full: Excellent course after the first lap of the housing estate is over and done with, but please do something about the start. Half the field were facing the wrong way when the gun went off.

In short: Eeeek -that hill
In full: My first 20 and I loved it.The 4-6 mile climb is very hard,no bones about it, but the scenery, organisation and friendly feel make it all worthwhile.Good hot showers afterwards, oh and we won the rugby too :o)

In short: very, very, very fast PB potential
In full: Outrageously flat so brilliant for PB - if you can't do it here then you never will.
Echo the sentiment about clock at the end and also even though I finished in 1:45 which was a massive PB for me all the sports drink had gone

In short: socks !!
In full: I blew it this year in the heat, but it is a cracking race, ideal for first timers - but it isn't flat. Agree with others that we could do without the no-name Chav socks ! Excellent day all the same

In short: I'm only happy when it rains...
In full: Cool rain made the run easier.Excellent organisation, cheery marshalls and a fair crowd out on the course considering the weather. Though if Chester CC want to plug this event as a tourist attraction, why not move the start to the Cross and we can sprint down Bridge Street towards Handbridge ? Spectators could watch from the Rows instead of all cramming on the walls.Just a thought.
PB's by over 15 mins this year - aim to fly around in 2007.

In short: Good PB potential
In full: ...but beginners watch the first mile as it's all uphill (bonus is that the last mile is mainly downhill, but by then my knees were shot !).Personally could have done with an extra water station out on the course at around mile 12,and it's a bit narrow in places to try and pass people who insist on running 6 abreast.Apart from that it's a great day out - well done to all who finished and are sat at home polishing their medals !

In short: As a first timer thoroughly enjoyed this even though found the last 3 miles harder than expected.Stuck to the expected finish times when lining up at the start but can see why faster runners complaining - I was passing people in the first mile and I'
