In short: What a toughy, it was definitely hilly especially in first half. Definitely worth a go. In full: For all those who like a hilly marathon you have to do the Wales marathon: Tenby to Pembroke dock and back again. I knew it was meant to be hilly but crumbs.... Amazing views though, I've never experienced such breathtaking views, would definitely recommend. Very sore now! Date of review: June 7, 2011

In short: Challenging but fantastic, what a beautiful place! I really feel like i've pushed my fitness! In full: This was a challenging race - lots of hills (hilly rather than undulating). However - the Wellington locals were so friendly and they helped the race get off smoothly and with excellent organisation. It really did push my fitness which I am so grateful for. I will definitely be back next year to be with you wonderful people! Date of review: July 20, 2008

In short: Fab race - cobbles so late on? In full: I cannot fault the organisation of the race- well done organisers. However - at 10-12 miles the cobbles left a lot to be desired - when your legs are so tired. I will definitely be doing it next year though - I'll be prepared for those cobbles next year!
