In short: Fantastic organisation and great stewards
In full: Regular water stations were well spaced for a warm day. Stewards before, during and post race were all encouraging (some really helped drive you on). Flat for the most part, but some long gentle (but does not feel it!) climbs as you approach the end with 24-26 relatively steep for tired legs. Loved it! Hopefully numbers will not increase too much as the greenway could become crowded.

In short: Must do again
In full: No complaints on route of organisation. Hills were well positioned for a challenging run. Co-runners all friendly. Good turn out of spectators. Only minor gripe was the T-Shirt (which shows how good it was). The ASDA logo is much too large and will prevent a couple of us wearing them in future. Sometimes less is better. No complaints about the kind sponsorship or advertising their logo on the shirt, but a subtle logo would make the whole thing more appealing. The medal was also excellent. Hopefully will have chance to run again next year. Those hills were great fun!

In short: Excellent fun
In full: As always, the competitors and marshals were all very friendly. The sweatshirt is more than worth the entry fee. Only wish there were more entries to help guarantee a start next year!

In short: OK, but how can I question a championship race distance?
In full: Pleasant race, and I was pleased with my time. BUT, I know the GPS systems are not 100% accurate, but it has never overestimated my race distance before. It measured the race nearly 1/4 mile longer on the way out and the same again on the return. Not only this, I found another GPS user who measured the exact same distance. Could this be genuine? Surely not....but..anyone else have the same experience?
