In short: Good race with great support - for most of the course In full: This was my second marathon after doing London in 2006. The weather was good (perhaps a little too warm) but no real complaints. The spectators were very appreciative and helped me through the last few miles. There are a few hills - as it is Brighton - but not too bad. Couple of niggles - too much looping (not good for confidence when you keep seeing people a couple of miles ahead) and the finish; everyone had to walk away from Brighton centre before being allowed up one set of steps. This was probably at least an extra half a mile if you had to double back. Needs to be sorted for next year. Organisation and the event as a whole were good overall though.
