In short: Challenging but friendly
In full: Enjoyed this run, not as hilly as expected, though the long one from 5.5 to 7 was a tough one to recover from.

Nice friendly crowd and well marshalled, though would have been nice to have received a goody bag, rather than just a medal at that price.

One gripe I had was the lady marshall at the finish who was handing out medals. I thanked her for the medal and asked her where the water was and she answered "chip first, then water" - flippin cheek!

In short: Great race, lovely atmosphere
In full: I was looking forward to this event after a challenging six months where I stopped enjoying my running and it became a chore. It did not disappoint and I had a great time and remembered how to enjoy running again.

In short: Lovely, low-key event in scenic surroundings
In full: Its was a great event, however the marshalling at the beginning of the second half was poor and I lost a place to a woman who cut off part of the route and went from behind me to about half a minute in front of me. I almost went the same way, but luckily the spectators guided me to the correct route. It was a nice event, very friendly and made a nice change to run with other runners, just enjoying it and not so serious about times, like the usual club runners. I would definitely do it again.

In short: I havent had so much fun in ages!
In full: Great race, excellent organisation and a huge thank you to all the guys who pulled us out of the ponds, would still be there if it wasnt for you! I stank so bad at the end I had to bin my trainers. I did the whole event with a big cheesy grin, it was so much fun!

In short: Poorly marshalled, sharp turns every few 100 meters
In full: Poorly marshalled race, it consisted of going round 4 laps of a housing estate with sharp left/right turns every few hundred yards - some points there were no marshalls or signs to tell you which way to go and twice I was jogging up and down the road not knowing where to go - would definitely not do again
