In short: very muddy but fun
In full: Everyone seemed to be a club runner, making the field quite quick. Bit demoralising to be at the back but was well cheered in at the end.

In short: shame they ran out of goody bags
In full: Weather and conditions were just beautiful. Marshalls were lovely, very supportive. Shame that the back markers didn't get a goody bag - felt robbed!

In short: bottleneck at the first bend
In full: This was my first 5k race and I too had trained long and hard for this. I did manage to run all the way round but only because I ran on the spot at the bottle necks!! going to try a different venue next year. my 48 minutes is never going to be in the record books - except one of the slowest times.
