In short: The hardest 20 I have ever done and certainly the most scenic
In full: The fist 5.5 miles was really tough, but once we'd got that over with you could just thoroughly enjoy a beautiful location to run with others.
The support from marshals and spectators was excellent. Water at just the right points. chunks of mars bar and jelly babies were a nice touch.
Great to see a crowd outside the town pub supporting, what a boost.
Couldn't fault the organisation at all, brilliant race and will definitly encourage others to come along and try it.
Well done Organisers!

In short: Excellent race, very well organised
In full: Well done Pewsey RC!
The race is tough and challenging and you get a real sense of achievement when you get to the finish line.
The only disappointing thing this year was the slurry ditch, the race doesn't need it. The Terminator is all about hills and doesn't need this Sodbury-like gimic, which caused a queue at such a late stage in the race and made you go cold even before going in the boot wash. Not a welcome site this year when you knew you were in your last mile.
Garmin read 11.8 this year.

In short: Dropped from my top 3 favourite races after today
In full: We have run 6/7 of the races to date and have always been really impressed with the personal service given by Mike Gratton, considering the size of the race. Not sure if Mike has now handed over the race direction to somebody handling it more as a commercial business venture.

Highs:
The refreshments at the finish line esp tea was very good

Lows:
Expensive
Start line not clear
Finish line not clear when running down the drive, esp with spectators on the drive.
Medal not as original as last year
Not sure why we had to submit a t-shirt size on the online entry
Not enough toilets (18 min wait at 9.30am)
Can people with cani-cross harnesses really be considered in the same race results? I was shocked to see a lady so well assisted up the hills, obviously impacting on finish positions.
Clock on finish line way out? I finished in 52:08, was advised by clubmates that the clock was out by 40 secs, which made 52:48, but the my chip time was 53:56??

In short: A great day out
In full: A Sodbury Virgin! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Marshaling superb, jelly babies and jelly beans a nice touch.
Only concern was the PA system before the race and when results were announced, couldn't hear anything. Maybe the horn could be sounded to get peoples attention before making the announcements?
Well done Bitton!!

In short: My first Bideford, thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back next year.
In full: Well done Bideford! Very well organised, lovely touches, jelly babies, water with lids off, drummers, highland band, encouraging marshals, felt very safe on the road sections.
Thoroughly enjoyed it! And a PB too!

In short: Wow do I ache today!
In full: I couldn't believe how muddy it was and the hills just kept coming!
My first time, I loved it and would recommend it to others.
Well done Pewsey, excellent organisation and marshalling, fantastic spread of cakes too!

In short: A great day for Weston Super Mare
In full: It was lovely to see so many people in the February sunshine in WSM. I particularly enjoyed the Marine Lake loop, could this be kept in the future when all the WSM works are complete? Good use of the beach at the start, made it good for spectators.

In short: A special race, worth returning for!
In full: This is the fourth time I've run the race and the hills do get easier. I managed to run the whole course for the frist time this year.
Although tough, this is a great course for beginners, as it is definitly not elitist.
Great goodies on the finish line. Not having a bag, meant you only took what you needed/wanted.
My only constructive criticism would be that it seemed really quiet this year prior to the start? I thought there was a PA making announcements before and firing everybody up as well as advising how long before the start? and we didn't hear any announcements before the start, just the starting horn (stood by 50-55min markers)
Well done and thank you Mike Gratton and team. Will definitly return again next year!
