In short: Absolutely brilliant- I'll be back !
In full: Usual, efficient organisation. Great route and scenery. The extra bit just meant i had to sprint an extra 2k- but it was mostly downhill! Sure i saw one or two without any mud on themselves (How did they manage that?).

In short: My fave local race. The hills are a doddle if you know they're coming!
In full: Seen better organisation but as this is my 9th go at this race i aint complaining. Took my own water bottle round so not fussed about bottles being provided at water stations.PB this time of 1:31 which made up for the disappointment of last year when i had an emergency appendix op 2 wks before the race!Back next year? You bet!

In short: Top Banana !
In full: This series of races gets better and better. Well done to the organisers yet again. Honour to see the great Ron Hill there. Even managed to grab myself a spot prize this time. Looking forward to the steamy surprise!

In short: You're either hooked or you'll hate it !
In full: 2007(Half Marathon). Must be one of, if not,THE best halves in the country. Rocket Rod does a great job of organising this, plus a few other cheeky little runs. The camaraderie is spot on, the hills take no prisoners and the scenery is out of this world. If you don't like hills, train and do it. If you do like hills then just Do It !
