In short: down on last year
In full: this is my favourite race, this year though I garmin'd it at 8.5 miles, it seems like they were more interested in getting the first race through and clear to allow the afternoon race more time. not nearly as hard as previous years and not nearly as much fun

In short: 11 miles of forest trails, killer hills and waist deep mud
In full: not one for the faint hearted as the devil himself stood and watched, more water stations and moving some of the logs from under the water might have been an idea though

In full: a good well organised half, well marshalled and well supported, excellent race, thanks to Wilmslow runners who organised and I'll be back next year

In full: Aside from excellent organisation this run has little to recommend it, take the opportuninty to visit the housing estates of stockport

In short: ever done a run that changed how you think about running
In full: This was as good an event as you could wish for, well marshalled, well marked out and with plenty of variety in the challenges. ps. don't ever trust someone who says the left is shallower !

In full: out and back course along the estuary with the wind in your face for the first 4 miles meant for aa fast final 4 miles
