In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: I loved this race! Hilly, wet & muddy :D The need for off road shoes should be made clearer though, I don't know how people coped today in road shoes. Great organisers & marshals too, well done all.

In short: A well organised race and a lovely undulating route
In full: This was my first time at Pewsey HM and I'll be back. The route was fairly similar to my training runs so I felt really at home :) and I actually got a 25second PB! :) The t-shirt made a nice change to a medal, all my medals are stuffed in a drawer somewhere but at least I'll wear the t-shirt :). Well done PVRC :)

In short: A great mixture of ups/downs/road/off - road
In full: I loved the varied terrain and mixture of ups & downs, there were more ups than I had expected so I went off a bit quick...but knocked 3 minutes off my PB :)

Because of lots of rain leading up to the race I wore my off road trainers and I'm glad I did. I may have got away with road trainers but I felt more steady/secure in the off roadies...there were a couple of muddy bits & lots of puddles.

I will be back next year :) Loved it.

In short: Tough 2nd half, but only due to the heat
In full: The first three miles were a bit dull, going backwards & forwards along the same stretch of road, but once out into the lanes it really improved. Shame the water stations were mainly in the first half of the course. I think most people could have done with another couple yesterday. Also, why cups? Most of the water goes on the floor. Bottles could've been carried to make up for the lack of water station in the second half. Thank goodness for the crowd at mile 8 with their water sprinkler and cups of water. They also refilled my water bottle! I'd still do this race again though, but with a bigger water bottle!! Marshals were great and the organisation was faultless.

In short: Challenging & hilly. Will def do again.
In full: This was my first time at Goring and I loved it. It was busy at the start with quite a bit of dodging about but that added to the atmosphere. Some problems with the chips but luckily for me mine was pretty accurate.
