In short: Some challenging hills, but lovely scenery to distract you
In full: Luckily the weather was better than forecast. Breezy in places, and a few showers, but nothing worse. Really well-marshalled race, and great to have the option of a warm shower at the sports centre. I did think that 'flat to undulating' didn't describe my experience! There were several quite challenging hills, but at east the last couple of miles was flat, when I really needed it. It wasn't obvious that there was a mini-bus shuttle back to the start, si I walked instead, which was a fair distance, but probably good for the legs.

In short: Great training for Spring marathons, and very encouraging marshalls
In full: Not everyone would like the two lap format, and the short out and back to make up the distance, but a very well organised race on quiet lanes, with a nice technical t-shirt as a memento, and hot drinks and cake available afterwards.
It did seem pretty congested at registration & chip collection - huge queue for D - H and it would be nice to have a timing mat at the start, but I would definitely do this one again, and recommend it to others.

In short: Really well organised, wonderful scenery but very challenging
In full: I might not do this race again if it follwed a week of rain, as this year's did, as it was extremely hard work, with a lot of really sticky mud, and a numner of icy cold floods which made my feet numb. Wonderful marshalls though, and cake! The coffee with a shot of rum at the top of Butser hill gave me new strength. Certainly a memorable occasion!!

In short: As good as ever
In full: Once again very well organised. I bit warm for me this year, but to be expected in July really! Would recommend it to anyone.

In short: Improved course & excellent organisation
In full: Was not on top form, so struggled a bit, but I liked the course (despite those two hills!) and will be back to do it again, hopefully feeling 100%. The weather was lucky, the organisation was great.

In short: Flat, fast & well-marshalled
In full: Perfect weather this year, cold but bright. There were some icy patches, but not too bad, and scenery was better than I had expected.

In short: Well-organised and enjoyable race
In full: Described as undulating, but actually pretty much flat. A lot of it on nice quiet lanes, with lovely autumn colouring. Friendly marshalls, nice medal - I had a great time, got a PB, and will be back!

In short: Very scenic, well-marshalled - great race!
In full: There can be some delays getting in and out of New Park, but it's worth it. Woodland trails, part of the Ornamental Drive with views of Rhinefield house, ponies and foals - what more could you want?

In short: Very well organised with friendly marshalls
In full: Good start around a field allowed runners to thin out before the narrowish exit. There were several climbs during the race, so quite challenging, especially as it was warm. The pint at the end was very welcome!

In short: Mixed terrain, some suburbia, some very scenic.
In full: There were a couple of places where it was pretty easy to miss the route - instructions were provided, but I hadn't come with reading glasses! Plenty of drinks stations, two with food during the 30k race. Friendly marshalls and nice medal.
