In short: Scenic, friendly, extremely well organised. A must for all runners
In full: I first did this run in 2010 and it was very well organised. Very scenic and friendly people.
I stayed for 5 days in a B&B just a quarter mile from the finish and it was very good value.
Great food at the end of the race and great goody bag with medal and T-shirt.
I have run 7 marathons since 1996 and this is by far my favourite, well worth the 1000 mile round trip.
I am making plans for my next visit!

In full: The start was a bit sudden but plenty of marshals (friendly)along the way.
