In short: A challenge in the rain, but I'll be back!
In full: My first Duathlon and really enjoyed it despite the mud, rain and cold meaning that difficult to really push the pace on much of either the run or cycle. Full marks for organisation and many thanks to all the marshals who stuck it out there and remained cheerful!

In short: Enjoyed the race, inevitably not perfect organisation for initial race
In full: Enjoyed the route and great to get support along the whole route. A particular thanks to all the marshals who stood out in the rain (personally I am happy with plastic cups of water rather than bottles). The problems with the short first lap didn't affect me but did seem a rather obvious oversight. Sorry to see the long queues to the toilets at the start, but fortunately I tried the ones inside town hall which were much shorter. The baggage trucks at the end need to be sorted out. Waiting while they try to find one bag in a pile of 1,000 when you are cold and wet is not my idea of fun. Seems pretty simple to sort out and if so I'll be back.

In short: Great way to spend a Sunday morning.
In full: Like nothing I have ever done before, always a good view or a different challenge to keep the interest up. Did 20.7 miles due to a couple of errors following route but it all added to the fun. Many thanks to all involved!

In short: Great way to start a Sunday morning
In full: An enjoyable and scenic run mostly by the Thames before most people have got up on a Sunday morning. Just one small gripe: no line across the road or sign that I noticed indicating just exactly where the start was, so not sure where to start my watch timer.

In short: Friendly race through a varied terrain.
In full: First time done this race, but got PB at this distance. Friendly and well marshalled. Some challenging windy and hilly bits made for a quite a variety over the 10km.

In short: Great start to the Easter weekend again!
In full: Fantastically well organised again - credit to Maidenhead AC and thanks to all the marshalls. Love being able to see all the other runners due to the loopback to the Business Park.

In short: Really enjoyable
In full: My first year at this race, but you could tell that the organisers have done this before and have everything well organised - lots of marshals, water stations etc. Personally I enjoyed having the slope up in the first half because it meant I could look forward to the slope down when tiring in the second half. A hot day, but possible to find a reasonable amount of shade during the run.

In short: Enjoyed it (but I do live close enough to cycle there, so I can avoid the car park).

In short: Enjoyed it - well organised.
In full: OK I might be a bit biased as it's my local race, so I can cycle there and back. Thanks to all the marshals and organisers who did a great job. Even the weather was much better than predicted earlier in the week (if a bit windy).
