In short: Poorly organised.
In full: Difficult to get information prior to race from website or organisers and 'flaws' on the day itself spoiled the day for the three of us taking part. The map provided in the pack-up indicated just one car park that was a 20 minute walk from the start although there were 2 others much closer. The information pack indicated there would be lockers (at a charge of £3) although there were no facilities there at all. Being told by the 'Organiser' that the lady who was supposed to sort the lockers had been off sick for the previous month added insult to injury. Having to leave our gear in a plastic bag under a table was not reassuring. On the plus side a good warm-up was provided by 'Military Fitness' and the flat scenic course did provide a PB. Nevertheless we will not partake in this event again and do not recommend it.

In short: Good course (got a PB!) but dreadful organisation spoiled the day
In full: Chaos at baggage point in City Hall got things off to a bad start. The route was good, drinks stations no problem and the local support excellent. However, where were the distance markers? I only saw 12 & 13! Post race organisation was absolutely abysmal and queuing for almost an hour with thousands of others to squeeze out of the Castle grounds was unacceptable. The problems at the Millenium Stadium pale to insignificance. A formal apology from the organisers would definately be appropriate.

In short: The rain was cool!
In full: The race itself was ace but the traffic congestion was a real problem. More bananas and less apples next time!

In short: Like running through a Gren cartoon!
In full: This was a real rollercoaster run with loads of tough hills. The locals were absolutely brill but no chance of 10k PBs on this one!

In short: Very scenic, dead flat and really fast. Lovely sunny day but a biting wind from England!

In short: Didn't know sand dunes could be vertical!
In full: Would definately have benefitted from km markers on the course and maybe water half way round. However the marshalls were really, really good. They cheered and encouraged all the way through which was a great help.

In short: A fabulous all round day & got a PB. Traffic congestion, changing/shower facilities bit iffy, but didn't spoil it. Well done to the 'hose-pipe-bloke' around 7km!

In short: Less Civic buildings and more water stations!
In full: Changing rooms locked & couldn't contact race organisers on number provided. Great weather and atmosphere but 3 laps of the Civic Buildings was not good. The leg through Bute Park was great as was the finish. Only one water station out on the course was not enough on a hot day. Shirt was a bit naff & the keyring was embarrassing!
