In short: Amateur organisation, uninspiring scenery, good weather
In full: Why, when Northampton has parks and other open spaces choose such an uninspiring route? Organisation from a "professional" company was way below anything that local clubs deliver. Only positives were the enthusiasm of the other runners and the weather.

In short: A great mix of fast and flat roads with a few hills thrown in to challenge
In full: My second year and this time I was prepared for the hills in the last 3K. Plenty of enthusiastic marshals and great atmosphere throughout. Thank you to the gentleman on the PA who gave our Silverstone 10K race a plug (5th May, 7.30pm, Silverstone Circuit!!)

In short: Enjoyable race despite the awful weather
In full: Foul weather but enjoyable run. Thanks to all the marshalls who endured the wind and a rain but you could have been a bit more supportive.
