In short: Another tough CTS day out in Devon
In full: Endurancelife are not cheap but they do run some amazing races around the UK. This is another tough marathon but probably not quite as bad as Dorset/Exmoor! The initial route along the Devon coast is stunning. The back stretch in land is slightly less visually impressive but you have enough hills to worry about then. Recommended series...if a bit expenesive.

In short: Another lovely Sunday in Knole Park
In full: Its been a while since I've done this race but it was great being back. Its nice having a shortish distance like this all off road with afew challenging hills thrown in. Lovely being back and I'll try and make it a more regular part of my racing year!

In short: Another fun Benfleet Mudfest!
In full: Well done to the organisers for a great Benfleet 15. The course as promised was very muddy this year adding afew unusual challenges. The atmosphere on the route was brilliant and you have to laugh when you are up to your knees in mud. Not a race for PB chasers but if you like a bit of cross country then give this a go!

In short: Horrible weather but another great run!
In full: Not the most enjoyable outing around Beachy but you still can't fault the organisation of this run. Hats off to the marshalls who despite the truly grim conditions remained so jolly and supportive the whole way round. Brilliant. Will be back (again) next year but someone please switch off the wind and rain in 2010!

In short: Another tough day out on the hills!
In full: This was my fourth JS and I spent much of the run asking myself why I was doing it again. It is a tough cookie and the field seemed smaller and a bit faster this year. Its a great course though - lovely views and its always good to be out off road in the countryside. Great prep for Beachy.

In short: Good half with a couple of hills to keep it interesting!
In full: Another good half in Dartford.Organisation seemed a bit better this year in the car park which was good. Nice route and always worth turning up for. Thanks to marshalls and organisers- and thanks for the medal. Much better than last years dire t-shirt!

In short: Its Gripped!
In full: This was a total off road experience. Not sure I would call it a race as the course was so muddy as to make it impossible to run much of the route. Climbing up scrambles on all fours was something new to add to the racing CV! Great fun though even though it took me ages to get round.

Only gripes were no medal despite one being promised and worse - no water or drinks at the finish. Hoping for a bit better when I head to Gower for the next event!

In short: Very tough but great fun...
In full: ...well if thats possible! This race isn't to be taken lightly. Tough hills and the long run into the finish make it physically and mentally testing. Was running this with a friend this year who was just aiming to finish - big big thanks to the marshalls who stayed out there despite our slow progress it really was uplifting!

In short: New route is a huge improvement
In full: Third time round the half course for me and once again the weather was great! The new route is much better cutting out all the traffic problems which have annoyed me in the past. Organisation was good. Scenery is lovely...I think I'll be back again!

In short: Decent half mara with a couple of challenging lumps!
In full: Well organised race round the countryside surrounding Kent. The course has a couple of hills in it but its certainly manageable if not quite a PB race. Medal would have been nicer than the rather disappointing t-shirt...espec for first time runners.
