In short: Good atmosphere, good run, can't fault it In full: I thought this was a great race, exceptionally well organised and definitely worth getting out of bed for a on a Sunday morning! The parking was great and the biscuit/venue at the end also worked really well. Having paid £15.00 for the Saucony 10k last week at Sandown Park which was a total rip off - the £11.00 this week was well worth it and the course much faster and better. 2009 Saucony 10K @ TCR

In short: Predominantly a race round the car park for no reward! In full: I agree with all the other people who said that this was a race around the car park when it was billed as a race around a racecourse. I know that the weather had an impact on this race but agree that no goody bag and £15.00 was a high price to pay to run for what. A small memento is the reason a lot of people take part in these races, running is free after all and this was definitely not value for money! Date of review: February 10, 2009

2008 Trionium Leith Hill Half

In short: A fantastic inaugural Leith Hill Half and I hope the first of many In full: It was tough going at times but this was to be expected, the organisation was great - especially for the first running of the event and the atmosphere and camaraderie amongst fellow runners was great. The glass memento and T-shirt are better than the tinny old medals that are often dished out. As for all those people griping about the entry fee, running is free, therefore, any event you enter is in effect expensive, I would far prefer to pay £25 for this event than plod along on the FLM which just doesn't do it for me - like so many things in life, you get what you pay for!
