In short: When you run to the drums in the tunnel - You'll be back.
In full: Great event. As the first time running of the event it was brilliant. Crowds were found all along the route - even for us very slow runners. When I crossed the finish line I always thought I would think never again but have to admit I want to go back and do it again.
The one line summary will mean a special something to everyone who ran the race this year and next year it could and should be you.

In short: No surprise entries close so quick
In full: Finally managed to run this race after having to pull out the last 2 years to to illness. It was well worth the wait and will back next year. Hopefully next time I'll spot the 10 mile marker, this year it was head down and plod up the hill.

In short: Second time and it gets better
In full: Second time I've run this one and it just gets better. All levels catered for on a not too hard course.
Whats more where else can you get a cup of tea and a hot cross bun at the end,for free, then a nice XL T-shirt (when your my size thats important) and then a bus right back to the start.

All this for £10 - entry on the day. runliverpool look and learn.

In short: Late but worth the wait.
In full: Must say I was a little worried about the organisation but in the end it went like clockwork. Mr Rothwell give yourself a pat on the back.

Only minor crit was only 10 Loo's for just short of 1800 is a little low.

Great just to run through the tunnel and the last 2 miles along the front are very nice indeed.

In short: At least it wasn't another T-Shirt
In full: It's one of my fav races and the towel is a nice touch instead of a t-shirt that doesn't fix.

In short: Super smashing great.
In full: This is a great race and suits all levels. If there is one tiny niggle its the distance markers. It might be me but some k's seem longer than others. To the fast boys it might not make much difference but to us plodders split's that differ by 1 minute can be a bit disheartening.

Then again I don't have to measure out the distances, organise T-shirts, drinks etc so if thats all I can complain about it tells you just how GOOD this one is.

In short: Even if you don't get a PB its a race worth doing. Organisation was better than last time
In full: Even if you don't get a PB its a race worth doing. Organisation was better than last time and its so cheap. People had gripes about the shuttles getting back into town but given that half of it seems to be dug up and the other half closed (for the race) I've got no complaints.

Will be back next year - this time I will get a PB

In short: At least it wasn't another T-Shirt
In full: I'll agree that the organisation at the end of the race was a little lacking but I suspect that was down to the size of the field.

Will definatly be back next year - this time with a little more training under my shoes.

In short: First five mile race. Could be my distance.
In full: My first five mile race would have liked it better if the rushed lucozade didn't take its revenge at 3.5 miles.

Will be back to set a new PB next year. I should be able to hop faster than this time.
