In short: One word PHENOMINAL In full: Having been out of the running game for several years I decided to jump back in at the deep end and go for a 10k, I'll just add that I bought the Runners World Guide to Running which is currently in WHSmihts and it was invaluable to my training, anyway the race was excellent, a really good atmosphere, the only flaw was that after completing the race the whole crowd if finishers hit a lot of congestion as we all tried to squeeze through into the area where they were handing out t-shirts and water, the last thing I wanted to do after a 10k was stop dead and go toe to heel like cattle. All in all though a fantastic race and I look forwards to a new PB next year. Date of review: May 22, 2005
