In short: Excellent race from getting my number in the post to crossing the finish line.
In full: No complaints at all. This was well marshalled and well organised. It's mostly flat but don't be fooled, there is a long incline that was cheeky.
PB potential.....I did!

In short: If only it was a 10km race
In full: I just want to say that this race has the potential to be very good.
Plus points - Organisation and marshalling were very good and the admin and passage of information was spot on.
Negatives - The race distance was too short! No distance markers which would have been useful (both to the organisers and runners)
In summary, look out for this event next year. It has potential and I am sure that the negative listed was just a human error that the event will learn from.

In short: Venue location & route - excellent, organisation - rubbish
In full: This was my missus first ever 10k and thankfully she knows know different.
Plus points - Venue location, good for beginners, excellent route.
Negatives - Value for money - questionable, organisation - laughable, wet bags in the baggage bays, 45 - 55min shuffle to just get to the start line, no direction at the end of the race, absolutely crap goody bags (bag of nuts and berries with a flyer!), an app on Facebook that people could use but then didn't appear on the screens. No customer support even though they have a link on the website saying 'contact us'.


Lets see what the photo looks like that i will be able to download (thats meant to be worth £17.99)
I hear what has been written before about the amount of people but i can honestly say that other than the route and a generally good atmosphere I will NEVER be entering this race again!

In short: It's a hill, get over it!
In full: Really enjoyed this event. Forget the weather, it was well marshalled, well organised and very friendly. I'll be back.

In short: My first marathon. The crowds and support was excellent, i'm already signed up for next years.
In full: Book your digs early and get as close to the centre as you can. Parking isn't great, expect to pay. So many places to eat before and after (booking essential). Get to the start line no later than 8am as the queues for the portaloos are long.
