In short: Felt different this year with 3 times as many runners as last year
In full: Nice to be able to pop out of race HQ right to start line, and ditto at the finish.
Nice mix of terrain, nothing too challenging.
Great value for money, when so many races are not!
friendly and helpful at the water stations. glad the sun was shining though, as could be not so fun in the rain!

In short: Agree with others that good race
In full: Agree about organisation being good, but having done Chester week before could find faults with this!, long walk to/from car park.
Good marshalls but needed them as alot of road crossings and had to be aware of traffic running on some narrow open roads.
Goody bag here 1 mars and bottle of 29p water -Chester had loads, sports drink and water, big bag sweets, sweets, and more, long sleeved tech shirt. Finish at Chester like clockwork, here steps to cup of tea, get through crowds to bag/showers.
Don't want to moan about this race as it was ok, but not quite as good as everyone's raving!

In short: Brilliant. Great communication/organisation/value
In full: Have to ditto what everyone has said (except the 1 poor comment, not sure which race he was at!)
The email updates and communications were a great indication of how well this was run. Nice to have the help desk there on saturday if needed.
Great venue with portaloos plus the racecourse bars etc. plenty of room at the start and nice tannoy announcements, water stations and energy drinks were great, nice to have bottles.
volunteers were brilliant and enthusiastic.
Nice finish down the home straight and clockwork funnelling through to medal / photo / bags / goodie bags (with plenty in them)
my only slight moan was more not made of the unique date, 9-10-11 wont be around again!, so shame tshirt says 9 october 2011 !
thanks guys, worth the trip up from bristol

In short: Great first time event, would never had guessed it was.
In full: As others have said, heat and hills made for a tough race, but local support and marshals/volunteers were brilliant.
Nice of locals not to complain about road closures but instead to come out with food, water and hose pipes.
Thankyou Basingstoke. Well worth the trip from Bristol

In full: continues to be great value, great friendly marshalls and spectators.
different course to previous years - just as hard!, especially the hill without the rope to help!, full 10k this year as opposed to last years short course, and yes - great encouragement from man in drag !

In short: Well organised, good course witha few nice ups and downs
In full: Enjoyed this one, nice to stay with a friend that lived 5 mins from start/finish!
Drinks were all in the right places, but if it had been any warmer, maybe could have done with having more with bottles.
Nice finish on the grass and big finish funnel, shame no tshirt/goody bag.
Agree with comment about Greenway, nice to be flat and traffic free more to be the last 6 odd miles of the marathon was mind sapping, shame I walked/ran this section, or i would have got under 4!!, as it was did 4.02 !

In short: PB for a 10k !!, but garmin made it 4.75m!
In full: At 11am race director asked us to rate this on here, expect he'll get some different comments than he thought when he said that!, I understand a marshall directed us wrong way near start, so missed out a mile of hard downhill and the 100 steps!
But other marshalls were great and rest of run fun and muddy!!, nice tshirt and pint after, and well done to my friend who lost his shoe in bog and ran race with one shoe on!
