In short: Tough but well worth it.
In full: This is a wonderful event. Unusually for an ultra race the course is fully marked. The scenery is gorgeous throughout and the organisation is superb. It's tough to grind out the last few miles but the sense of achievement you get is well worth it.

In short: Magnificent!
In full: I'm thrilled to have finished this very tough race in wet and cold conditions. It is a brilliant event, very well organised. There is a real variety in scenery: pretty villages, woods, a beautiful country park and an ugly industrial estate. The muddy fields and flooded paths were very challenging, particularly after dark, but that is the fun and the challenge. Thanks to the organisers for a remarkable race and a truly memorable experience.

In short: Great if you like big city races.
In full: Very enjoyable half with lots of atmosphere and support. A bit crowded at the start but fine once you've gone a couple of miles. Nice varied route. Got a pb despite the hills and the crowds.
