In short: Nice route, organization keeps getting better, well marshalled, thank you.
In full: The 9:30 start is good for a race that might get hot later (it did), the car parking is subsidised now, loads of drink stations - mostly cups but bottles at 3 and 14 miles. I like the greenway! Pretty route, friendly support. I'll be back, again. How about another bottle or two and some gels next year?

In short: Still excellent
In full: Excellent race - well organized and lots of nice touches (bottled water, energy gels etc). I'll be back - thanks.

In short: Much improved race
In full: Full marathon course is much nicer than 2 years ago; it gives a better impression of the city and includes decent countryside. Sally Army band was excellent. Friendly marshalls. And a PB!

If they wanted constructive criticism I wish for one or two stations to have bottles, and different medals for half and full.

I'll be back. Thanks to all involved.

In short: You'd have to be really grumpy not to enjoy this one.
In full: Always friendly. Always a slightly ludicrous start - just go with it. Well organized, good drink stops w/ gels etc. Recommended (again).

In short: Good stewards, but one or two things could be improved.
In full: Stewards were great - thanks.
Intended constructively: I found it hard to take on enough water - 1 or 2 more stops with bottles at a couple would be better. Generous with gels / High 5 though.
Couldn't hear the PA at the start. Not enough toilets at the start. Medal doesn't say what it is for, which is a shame. They must have irritated *lots* of motorists with all those road closures. I preferred the old course to be honest.

In short: The Flat One!!!
In full: This is the flattest marathon course you could ever hope for. Pretty route with some lovely running roads, excellent support. Recommended to anyone. (And to think some people choose to run around a city instead.)
My first time here and it is my new favorite. Bit windy today though.

In short: Improved Organization, loads of water stations, friendly marshalls.
In full: Hard to fault for effort: full marks for number of drinks stations (and in bottles!) + isotonic drink station. Supportive locals and considerate drivers. Marshalls were great - thanks. And I LIKE the greenway. A good marathon for anyone to run.

In short: Thanks, Marshalls; I am sure the wind and hail were worse for you.
In full: Same course, but it felt flatter today. Recommended to anyone planning a spring marathon. It'll be fantastic when all the new trees along the route have grown up a bit too.

In short: Nice race, improved by morning start. Now; any chance of energy drinks next year?
In full: Morning start is a big improvement. Some people grumble about the Greenway but I like it. And dont listen to the compaints about hills; there are only 2 little ones. My second PB on this course.

Agree some of the marshals were a bit austere, but it makes you appreciate them more at races where they are more supportive, doesn't it? And hats off to anyone who gives up their time to do it.

My only remaining grumble is still no energy drinks - maybe a couple of stations on the second lap could offer them next year?

In short: They treat you really well at Ashby
In full: Easy parking; good marshalling; water + sponges + High5 on course; goodie bag has just what you want after a tough run; sweatshirt a bonus. I'll definitely be back.
