In full: Great Race, 4 laps of the race track made it seem alot shorter than 6 miles :) We were all made to feel very Welcome. Even the monkey that I pipped to the finish in the last 4 meters was very enthusiatis :) :) A race for all ages, abilities a deffinate PB potential :) :) :) :)
A well organised race and one to watch for the future as can see this one going from strength to strength.
Thanks to all the organisers and the Mayor
Lea :)

In short: Would be better if they start the begining and end
In full: The actual race was good, but yet again the start was delayed, the course should have been cleared well before 11. And as for the end. The castle grounds are too small to have the finish in, especially the way it is organised. I think the organisers should go to a few other big races between now and next and see what is needed for a good finish. There ARE ways to have everyone happy at the end. If you get that sorted it would be a good race.

In short: Good Race mostly flat or slightly undulating but with 2 Killer hills
In full: Quite a few PB's for the 15 striders that did this.
Good run, and the 497 motor bikes dpoing the egg run that made an impromptue detour due to an accident on the main road made about 2 miles in the middle alot more interesting ;)
18 minutes off my PB, if it wasnt for the 2 hills I would have got a Sub 2 hour :)
Well done Grantham Athelics :)
