In short: Really great course - all within a stone's throw from central London
In full: Really good course, lots of countryside/park land to see and also got to run alongside the Thames and the Grand Union Canal. At 40 quid it's not cheap but for a day's entertainment worth the money. Organised by runners for runners - including some of us at the back end of the field.

In short: Very well organised by a friendly group of people. Course is tough though !
In full: Better than average 10k, taking in some scenic offroad sections. Really nice one for the novice, new to racing.

In short: Hilly course - good pre-London tester.
In full: Very well organised with loads of marshalls making sure that no-one got lost/everyone got round safely. Organisers very friendly. Shame same couldn't be said about course !! Lots of ups & downs (and ups again).
My wife (who is doing a marathon for first time also ran it) - longest run thus far..she enjoyed it. Although a 'backpacker' she got a great reception at finish and feels a lot more confident about doing 26.2 !! Well done Thanet RR

In short: Weather was kind and race very well organised. A pleasure to run.
In full: This is a tough course, of that there is no doubt. But the scenery makes it all worthwhile so would recommend it to any one. If you find the going a bit hard, relax and walk. Honestly it wont hurt !

In short: Fast course and well managed event.
In full: Course changed this year...but don't worry it is still pretty flat and offers up good PB potential. Extremely well marshalled and organisers made us feel welcome.

In short: Testing course but gives good views of the South Downs
In full: Course may have been a bit short ? Good views of the South Downs but perhaps could have taken in more of Seaford Head - would have given an element of uniqueness amongst other runs that cross the Downs. Course nicely marked out - had expected to find my own way round using route description which had been provided beforehand.

In short: A fair bit of road for an off road race!
In full: Haven't done this since 2006 and course seems to have changed a bit. Meant that quite a bit of it was run on road/pavement _ I don't mind as I do better on those surfaces (knocked 43 mins off my PB for thos course !) , but one or two niggly comments overheard.
Nonetheless, as mentioned it suited me and I'll be back for more next year. Well organised race and friendly atmosphere - well done all.

In short: Testing 10 miler - quick in parts and PB potential.
In full: Well organised race and good value for money. Marshalls/Officials all very friendly and encouraging. My wife ran also (her fisrt ever race) and was encouraged all the way to a sub 2 hour time. She was very happy !
