In short: It's a great course!
In full: I finished 2012 the way I began it with the Seven Sins Run. In January there were 131 finishers, this time 340 people had pre entered plus entries were taken on the day. As others have said the extra numbers did create problems for the organisers but I thought they seemed to cope well with it on the whole, well done Andy and the team. Car parking will need to be looked at if numbers are going to stay at this level, some parking marshalls would have helped, having said that arriving 40 minutes before the start we got parked OK and did not have to queue for long at registration. The course was as challenging as ever with the mud and water being more plentiful than January. Before we went I thought the tunnels might have to be missed out due to the high water levels but the organiser made the decision to leave them in. I wouldn't have blamed him for diverting the route, the fast flowing water particulary on the second tunnel where all the water was funneled through a narrow gap approaching the tunnel entrance was quite scary wouldn't have taken much to take me off my feet. Made it in one peice though and hope to come back next time.

In short: A good fast course and very pretty too!
In full: A fast flat course after the first uphill mile to the dam, with a downhill finish. A race this size with a fairly narrow start would really benefit from chip timing. As a 2.10 runner I made sure I started in the correct pen and it took 2 minutes to cross the start line which would have scuppered any PB attempt. Overtook quite a few people in the first half of the race suggesting lots had started in the wrong area. The signs for the start pens need to be bigger please.
Other than that accurate mile markers, plenty of water stations, enough toilets and a T-shirt and medal too. Thaks and well done to all the volunteers involved for giving us a great day out.

In short: Good organisation, plenty of water stations , nice route
In full: Good organisation, my bag was waiting for me at Stonehenge when I arrived and no problem getting the coach back to where we started in Avebury. The second half across Salisbury Plain was more undulating than I expected and it was drier underfoot than I thought it would be after all the recent heavy rain. Mostly on gravel tracks so shoes with some cushioning better than out and out off roaders.
Encouraging marshalls at the water stations and from some of the many walkers out too.
All in all a good day out!

In short: Excellently organised and marshalled
In full: I was expecting more mud but the conditions underfoot were generally good this year. the wind made up the difficultly though, six miles or so into a headwind does sap your strength. Organisation was excellent and thanks to the encouraging marshalls. Also a nice tech t at the finish. Well done Benfleet.

In short: An excellent well marked course, friendly and efficient organisation.
In full: I really enjoyed this run. The course is excellent with seven challenging hills but not ridiculously hard.I even quite liked wading through the rivers in the tunnels although it was a bit cold on the feet!
Deserves to have a bigger number of entrants.

In short: It's tough but the clue's in the name!
In full: Lot's of positive points about this event. It's a lovely area to run in, challenging course, good T Shirt and medal and carrots at the end! On the whole well organised shame there was a marshalling error that led a lot of people the wrong way. I was glad I'd run the course in training so took the correct route. Felt a bit sorry for the marshall concerned she looked really upset. The marshalls were encouraging on the way round thanks to all involved.
If it's on next year I'd like to come back to try and beat this years time!

In short: Another great 'Orror thanks Chepstow
In full: Well organised as usual in spite of the rug being pulled from under the car parking at the last minute. It's a lovely scenic challenging route, one of my favourite races. The only improvement could be an extra water station at the start of the run back along the river.
