In short: Amazing value, good flat track and great organisation. In full: This was a great race with a really nice atmosphere. Had a shocker, but that's because I set off too fast and suffered in the heat. Definite pb course in the right conditions though. Can't understand the negative comment above - hardly their fault it was hot. There was sufficient water and it's been unseasonally warm for a few days, so people shouldn't have been caught out. As for having to wait to let runners past as you were trying to leave, maybe on your next race the runners could stop to let you out. Get a grip. Well done to all concerned. In short: Awesome route, brilliant scenery, wonderful support, dodgy car park. In full: This was fantastic. The only grumble is about the car park, which took ages to get into and longer to get out of due to it cutting up and cars getting stuck. This was purely because of an hour or so of heavy rain, so i don't know how they can improve it. There's probably nowhere else to park that many cars anyway.
I enjoyed it immensely, with the exception of vomiting at the finish, which was less enjoyable.
Will be back. Date of review: May 17, 2009

In short: Fantastic long, muddy run around Rotherham's border. It shouldn't work, but it does. In full: This was my first attempt at any race longer than the Dartmoor 32 miler and enjoyed it thoroughly. I did whine about the pain all race, but loved it in a sick kind of way. The high standard surpised me, but everyone was friendly and i would reccommend it to anyone who doesn't mind legs that don't work for a few days. Date of review: December 10, 2006
