In short: Not an easy one
In full: First time for me this one, and was impressed. Good support, excellent organisation. Not the easiest of courses but thats a positive. Too many races are becoming pancake flat. Very friendly club, no surprise to those who run the Humber Half. Hard work but enjoyable. See you next year

In short: Could be better
In full: Flat course so given no wind should offer pb potential. Prizes were a joke. 3rd place didnt even cover the cost of entry. Nice to have cash rather than vouchers. Nearly bought the guff when the organisers said they used to offer so much more in previous years but couldnt due to lack of sponsor. Its only the 2nd year of this race. Incorrect calls over tannoy saying I needed an ambulance mid race. Not true and caused unecessary worry to my friends/family. No tea/refreshments which has been picked up by previous posters. Lack of marshalls at certain points, but those who were there were very supportive - marshalls and spectators

Had the potential to offer so much more but in the end offered little

In short: Feeling HOT HOT HOT
In full: The heat and water problems got to us all. I was 8th (2hr 29) and collapsed about 100m from the finish still got over the line for a PB. Water stations especially in the 2nd half of the race were too far apart. Improvements needed but has the potential to be a really good race. MASSIVE THANKS TO THE MEDICAL TEAM

In short: Awful
In full: Where do i start! Awful goody bag, one magazine and a stick of rock does not make a goody bag (T shirt and medal basic) Having to dodge members of the public or either didnt know or care that there was a race on. Marshalling towards end shocking at one juction no signs or marshall so assumed straight on, meant to turn left even then after that not a marshal in sight when options to go left/right or straight on. There are more, one to avoid big time.
