In short: Friendly flat half In full: I had an enjoyable day but no pb for me due to having to cope with pretty bad blisters from mile 8 which is unusual for me. The headwind also made for tough going on the two loop course.
Very friendly event, good location for the family to come and watch - my daughter enjoyed a day on the beach and my partner enjoyed the bacon butties from the cafe.
Nice medal plus water and snacks at the finish.

In short: Very friendly hilly half. In full: My first time running the Potters Arf although I knew the course was going to be touhg having family in Stoke.
Organisation was spot on, crowd suppord was great...the jelly babies, extra water and hose pipe cool downs were really appreciated on a hot day.
I had a tough day with illness but it was still a great race and one I look forward to next year. Date of review: June 11, 2012
