In short: Nice flat course with some nice attractions on the way but goody bag could have been better.
In full: The weather was perfect and the course is a great one maybe a few too many turns but very flat. I think they could have done with a few more toilets as queues were too long and I had to go without. The support was very good and this is always a very special race for me as it was the first half I ever did back in 2005. I thought the goody bag was a bit poor this year and there wasn't a t-shirt however I probably have too many anyway.

However the worst thing about the day was the 45 minute wait to get my bag from the baggage tent this should have been organised better as I got pretty cold by the time I got my bag.

In short: More hills than I was expecting. I will need to do some hill training if I'm to do this again.
In full: I thought it was a very nice race and twined with a holiday made it more special. However as I'm used to flat runs like Bristol, Bath and Cardiff this was a bit harder than I was expecting.
However water stops were great and I found the sponge stops very refreshing for the price this puts the bigger more expensive races to shame.
