In short: From start - and that includes the very friendly marshalls greeting runners on arrival - to finish, this race has impeccable organisation; and it's a terrific course, too.

In short: Heaven and hell.
In full: This race should be so much bigger - potentially it has everything. Marshalling has certainly improved since I ran the inaugural (extra long!) race but there is still a naivety to some aspects of the overall organisation though it's a very friendly and welcoming affair. And, yes, still waiting for the results.

In short: Enjoyable race with some pretty sea views.
In full: Very well organised as always. Enjoyed running along the coast. Running out and back - then out and back in the opposite direction (ish) - ensures lots of support at the start/finish area. Lovely shirt at the end.

In short: Excellent course with very friendly and encouraging marshals.
In full: Tough distance but the format which finishes with two six-mile loops really helps keep motivation. There aren't many 21 mile races so this has definite PB potential! Lots of lovely scenery. Very well organised with plenty of water stations and jelly babies along the way. Overall, very enjoyable!

In short: So, so tough in parts but wonderful marshalling and scenery throughout more than compensate.
In full: First time running. Race certainly lived up to the hype - incredibly difficult in parts but superb organisation throughout. Unique and brilliant.

In short: Absolutely wonderful!
In full: Can hardly fault it. Curious about some of the comments about hills - I don't think Phidippides would have complained - and the lack of scenery in the industrial section as it can't be easy to perfect everything over 26 miles and much of the other scenery more than compensated. Spectators were awesome - the highlight and truly incredible and inspiring. Left feeling privileged to have taken part but do agree a little with the park and ride issues as I missed the last bus (given wrong time) and few people could really advise me what to do. That aside, thank you, Brighton - you were wonderful.

In short: A superb 10K.
In full: Equal parts off- and on-road, I'd say. Some beautiful scenery and although definitely a mix of ups and downs, PB's are possible (as I proved today!). Easily one of the best in terms of route, organisation etc - I love it!

In short: Ouch!
In full: Agree with others - definitely longer than 10k and a physically challenging race, especially in sunshine. Three times round the route I asked 'how far?' - as in to go - and three times the answer was 10k so definitely a lack of experience with marshalls. But, a little bit of tweaking next year and it will be great. Will definitely go back.
