In short: Friendly, scenic and midly challenging off road 10K In full: Loved this race. Held in the village I was brought up in, it still managed to take in off-road paths and tracks I'd never been on before, and was a glorious mix of bluebell woods and open views over the rolling Hampshire countryside. Very friendly and informal, good marshals and post race snacks. Has to be one of the nicest 10Ks I've ever run, and would definitely do it again. Date of review: May 13, 2012

In short: Another good Regency 10K in the usual glorious sunshine In full: Bit biassed as I can walk to the start, but this really is a good race despite congestion in first half. Great mix of scenery, good local support, encouraging marshalls, and a real mix of club and non-club runners. And yet again the sun shone! Not sure it can get much bigger though given narrow paths round Newbold Comyn .. Date of review: April 15, 2012

In short: Great race In full: Second time for this one - organisation is fantastic - from the the race HQ, to the nearby parking and lack of queues for the loos, marshals all really encouraging, great route - scenic and not over challenging. Thanks Salisbury. Date of review: March 20, 2011

In short: Did the half marathon - hillier route than before but the following wind helped! In full: Always get a warm glowing feeling after this race as the organisers are so grateful for the support ! Have never wanted to run a race less, huddling in the marquee at Charlton Clumps in the rain and wind before the start, but once we got going and the rain stopped it was fine, and the following wind made for a good time despite the changed route being hillier than before. A very friendly race, and something that bit different - am sure I will be back. Date of review: May 2, 2010

In short: First time for this race; lovely scenery, good course, well organised. In full: Really enjoyed my first 10 mile race. The scenery was lovely, the course fast, and despite some minor niggles getting round the cars in the first half, the organisation and marshalling were great. Really convenient being able to park so close to the start/finish/race HQ. Thanks to all. Date of review: March 7, 2010

In short: Great start to the New Year as always In full: Such an enjoyable race. I don't know how Stratford AC manage to conjure up perfect weather for this race so often, but after all the snow it was simply a pleasure to be out running in the sun in lovely scenery, with encouraging and plentiful marshalls and a really friendly atmosphere. Thanks to all involved Date of review: January 17, 2010

In short: Much easier in the rain than the usual scorching sun ! In full: After three goes at this race in hot June sun I took a break for a couple of years, and found it a lot easier this year with cooler. and considerably wetter, weather, though glad the torrential downpour had eased off by the start. The only problem as others have noted was the long walk to the start line such that gun times were so wide of the mark compared to chip times; also it would be nice as in some races to have result sortable by age category (marginally less depressing!) but maybe that's on its way. But overall, a great local event, and huge thanks to all those who turned out to help and marshal in such weather -very very much appreciated ! Date of review: June 9, 2009

In short: Great quirky atmosphere but found the hills tough (and only doing the half !) In full: I came in much slower than last year due to really struggling with the hills for some reason, but enjoyed the second half of the route (and thought the changed course an improvement) and you do get a real warm glow at the end as the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust are so grateful to all runners. The woman in green personally welcoming everyone over the line deserves special thanks. Only minor quibble was need for more loos at Charlton Clumps ... Date of review: May 3, 2009
